Comics & Posters of the Regular Cover for sale. We will also be giving away the creating 3D printouts of our very first figurine.

Our very first Superhero comic launch will have cover artist, Shane Evans and Creator/Writer & Co-Artist, Aru Singh available to sign the comic books and posters, along with helping out the OKK event.

Items will be available to purchase throughout the day although,

OUR KID'S KOMICS™

This year we are running a Create A Comic with , OKK™ (Our Kid's Komics™) initiative where we invite kids from 7-18yrs to participate in creating a 1-2 page comic story told in 6 panels. They will get to make up their own characters in their own art style and draw up it for us to produce a black/white digital collection of their stories.

We will have a writer and a comic artist along with art students to help the kids tell their stories in their choice of style, American Comics, Manga, European, Cartoon or Comic Strips.

We are looking to then later produce a print version of this collection that will be given free to the kids, and also available for purchase both in digital download and in print versions.

12 noon to 4pm.

Writer & Artist will be available at from 12noon to 1pm.

COSPLAY COMPETITION

Once again, we will be holding our Cosplay Competition this year with Sponsored Pop Culture prizes up for grabs.

We run these in the following way near the closing to event:

Open Adult

This is open to those under 13 years of age and is chosen as an overall placing lookin at creativity and effort put into designing the costume as well as the final result.

Under 13s

This is open to those under 13 years of age and is chosen as an overall placing lookin at creativity

Best Costume

We understand that not all of us are creative with foam, needle or thread or a scissor and paint brush, so we are going to give out a best dressed award overall for a purchased costume.

Prizegiving will take place from 3.30pm

GAMING

Once again, we are grateful for our local Shadow_Realm TCG* group for organising a FLESH and BLOOD tabletop gaming competition event.

Casual_RPG will be running a Dungeons & Dragons game event as well.

We will currently looking at working through the finer details of having a dedicated PC Gaming event as well.

Events will take place from 12 noon to 3.30pm

KID'S ROOM

This year we have established a special area just for our youngster where the Whangarei City Library Staff along with Volunteers from Whangarei Girl's High School will be assisting with running our very first, OUR KID"S KOMICS (OKK) initiative. See below for more details.

Long with OKK, there will be a Zine making event along side the opportunity for kids to make their own pin badges upcycled from old comics from the library and donated comics and books.

COLORING COMPETITION

We will be running a colouring completion for the Under 13yrs for which the top 3 will each receive a 3D printed 3" Incredi-Girl™ figurine
